Bridget's feedback:
"It's always really interesting to compare a film and its source text, and your essay brings together some good observations. I'd encourage you to explore the impact of medium on each, currently touched on briefly in the last paragraph ("to make it more popular and entertaining"); after that, you make an interesting point about visualization--can you use this in your earlier discussion about the monster's appearance? On that note, I also recommend defending the use of "somewhat" ("somewhat distorted features," bottom of page 1) vis-a-vis the block quotation above. The reader, given the evidence, will want to know why you interpret it like that--do you think, for example, Victor is exaggerating? This and any other reasoning could make sense, but your reader needs to see it.
The ostensibly minor issue of forgetting to tell us which movie you are discussing has a major impact on the essay: until the reader knows which texts you are working with, the essay is essentially without a project as far as the reader is concerned. Include the title and year at the beginning (and in your works cited). Check your style guide for block quotation formatting, including how to present two quotations (as on page 2)."
