People express their views in the world as either personal feelings written in pencil that can be erased at any moment or facts written in pen that are believed to permanently stay the same However what individuals who expressed their opinions in pen failed to realize is that as time carried on innovators have created erasable pens and whiteout The new innovations have made pen inscriptions as permanent as pencil and will challenge individuals to either use the bottle of whiteout to keep revising their views or to stuff the bottle into a shoebox and pretend like their ink is still erasable As a Canadian an obvious curiosity would be to wonder where Canadas society fits on the scale of a pencilwhiteout society to a non-whiteout society In general saying older Canadians see their views in pen with the whiteout tucked far away and younger Canadians write their views written in pencil would be a safe assumption Though when the topic of what a family is defined as gets brought about more and more older Canadians are digging up their bottles of whiteout ready to revise their previous views Back in the day when Canadas older generation first wrote their definition of family in pen a nuclear family was the only type of family that was socially accepted Now Canadas socially accepted families have evolved into a wide variety including same-sex single parent and blended families With the recognition and acceptance of all the different kinds of forms a family could look like Canadians have left a positive impact not only on Canadas society but also on the worlds
