Jim's feedback:
"Your first sentence uses present tense to describe the past. You should write dates with cardinal numbers, i.e., “September 30, 1882.” You state that the first dam was built in 1882, which is certainly false. Why do you write “2,044 billion” instead of “2.044 trillion?” Note also that no hyphen should be placed before “kilowatt” in this case. It is good to avoid informal terms, including contractions. Your statement on 80,000 people is vague, none of your information is documented, and you make many generalizations. Your essay has many grammatical issues, some of which can be identified by running a grammar checker. You should also proofread the paper."
