Once in a lifetime12 billion people Was this really happening too me Why hadthey chosen meAll this was an unimaginable way away sitting in this stiflinglecture theatre was like being locked in an oven as Mr Cassidyrambled on about this upcoming life changing experience Thereis a relaxed atmosphere about the place the dcor dull thestaff cheerful and excited New Culture New way ofliving New experience This is for me I tried to make myletter of application as efficient as possible I am reallyoutgoing and adaptable to new situation That caught theeyes was the winning statement for me so before I know it Iwill be on that plane to IndiaI went from feeling like this was months away to stepping on theplane in a couple of days My house was like a bees hiveeveryone buzzing around making sure that everything was packedI could not bear the wait any more I was feeling more nervousbut excited at the same time The last few days before thatdreaded 16 hour flight went at a snails pace 1 hour gone 2hours 3 hours I wanted it to be more like 3 days too go 2days 1 dayThursday morning eventually came after what seemed like alifetime had passed I could not eat anything my stomach wasin knots That unbearable wakening at 6 oclock in the morninghad been and gone and now I was too agitated to sit down Thisonce in a life time opportunity had finally became reality andhit home that in about 5 hours my plane journey to India willhave began Saying good-bye to friends and family was alwaysgoing too prove a challenge This was no ordinary holiday Iwill have no family there to support me when I need it mostOur parents will not always be there to guide us through thegood in life so this is my time to shine and show them what agreat achievement this is for me and how it will help megreatly in
