How your life experiences shaped who you are todayMy parents raised me to be soft hearted strong minded to learn from my mistakes and to trust in gods plan I grew up with a strong sense of family and togetherness Ive always been a part of a team from the time I was five years old I feel like being a team player is important in any career especially nursing Trusting in others and being trustworthy is a major component of any job or team which is a characteristic I like to say over time Ive acquired In high school I was one of the few chosen students to be a part of a career mentorship class This class allowed me to shadow nurses in many different medical facilities in my hometown for two hours each day of my senior year This class gave me the privilege of seeing the many aspects of all kinds of nursing I loved every aspect of nursing I observed and it just made my choice of going to nursing school an easy one Edgewood Vista is my current place of employment I truly enjoy making the residents days easier I always leave with a good feeling knowing Ive helped someone in need Both RNs and CNAs jobs are to serve patients every need while attending to their medical requirements which as a CNA I feel I am very well at Although I do like being a CNA I want to leap onto that next stepping stone in my life and continue my education to the career Ive always wanted a nurse How do you see yourself contributing to the profession of nursing I see myself contributing to the field of nursing as a passionate nurse one who has mastered everything learned in nursing school through a variety of situations one who is a part of a team or unit that sets examples for others and one who truly
