Iraq is believed by many to be a world power with its nuclear weapons However this is not true Inspectors have destroyed all equipment facilities and materials During the now present day Iraq has exactly no known facilities working on nuclear weapons The International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA reports that no evidence of known nuclear activity has been reported That statement in the source What Iraq Still Has states that no evidence of any activity does not mean that it has evidence for no activity This simply means that the agency has no evidence that there is nuclear activity not that it has evidence that there is no activity Iraq did use to have nuclear capabilities but most was discovered and destroyed after their defeat in Desert Storm Even with this information from the IAEA there is still said to be secret nuclear progress being made by Iraq IAEA has identified possible places where nuclear weapons could be constructed has found equipment used in the making of nuclear weapons and has also found that Iraq has possession of nuclear materials Before inspection of Iraq the only know nuclear spot was in Al Tuwitha This is where Iraqs nuclear weapons were being safeguarded The Iraqis denied the fact that any other labs did exist With further inspection of the country the IAEA found a lab in the town of Tarmiya that specialized in electromagnetic isotope separation EMIS This facility was capable of producing material that could later be used in the construction of nuclear weapons Thankfully this lab was not fully operational because it was still in the installation stage Iraq had continued its lying ways when asked about the plant at Tarmiya and also another plant located in Ash Sharkat Both of these plants were to be used to help with the process of making nuclear weapons In addition to these three plants Iraq also tried to cover up a plant in Mosul that was
