"You tackle this complicated issue with empathy, creating an ethos and tone that helps draw the reader into the discussion. The purpose of the paper is a little hard to pin down, as what begins as a source-based discussion shifts into a speculative and more essayistic space. Is there room in the prompt for a move away from evidence and logos and into pathos and hypotheticals? Most persuasive will be offering a solution that has been proposed elsewhere and tested, allowing you to incorporate sourcing, evidence, and data as well."
