Bridget's feedback:
"This is an efficient discussion that makes good use of evidence and details to create depth. A number of typos and minor mechanics errors, however, make the reading experience quite bumpy, with clarity impacted at a number of levels; a more egregious example is the typo "1960s" at the start, which destabilizes the reader's understanding of the essay's "when." Use a thorough proofread to catch those and similar others, such as the misplaced semicolon in the final sentence.
I will also recommend a first sentence revision that places the reader a little more gently in the discussion, with reference to the time period, at the very least. And as a final note, check your punctuation around the in-text parenthetical citations against your relevant style guide; periods will usually come after."
