How many times can you remember when you went outside and actually appreciated the nature that was surrounding you I know that before my first hiking trip there was not many times when I could say I did this My Dad and I traveled up to New Hampshire to a mountain known as Mount Monadnock This was when I learned to appreciate nature mostly because of the beauty that it held Hiking made me appreciate nature for three main reasons there are so many sights to see within it you get exercise while exploring and there is always a reward in the end especially when hiking up mountainsI was sixteen years old and didnt really do anything that was out in nature besides swimming in the lake or riding dirt bikes with my friends On the way up I could tell that we were in New Hampshire We were getting close to the mountain because the forests became so dense that it was hard for even the luminous sun to peak through the trees However even though there were all of these trees there was some times where the trees cleared out so perfectly in a way that I could see a valley of monstrous mountains in the distance The fact that it was such a nice day with almost no clouds added to how beautiful the mountains looked Once I got there and was in the parking lot there was nothing but trees and a small shack This shack was where a map of the trails could be found along with other items such as food and t-shirts that had the mountains name on them I tied up my squeaky clean hiking boots and realized that I had not even started hiking yet and I felt like I had already seen so many striking sights On the other hand to see the best
