"Your essay is well written and has a good flow. Admitting that you were only considering law because it was what your friends were doing is risky, but the honesty pays off as you describe how you matured and gained a real interest in pursuing law. It is best to use the semicolon connecting related sentences only sparingly. In the last sentence of the first paragraph, for instance, it would be more impactful to have the last sentence stand alone. Finally, rather than describing your potential as "unlimited," you might want to use more moderate phrasing, "realize that I had a lot to contribute...""
