My visit to the Islamic Cultural Center was an unforgettable experience When we were invited to go inside I had to use the restroom It was filthy Since the people know that we were coming I cannot believe them not cleaning their house before invited a stranger to it Anyway The Imam leader received us with a very warm welcome He was very patient with the many questions we were asking This was for me an unforgettable experienceSeating over the carpet while listening to the answers of our questions I felt like if I was at home He had an answer for every question asked If muslins were all like the Imam the world would be a better world But unfortunately this is not happening in this world I felt like I can stay forever listening to him One of the few questions was why they pray five times a day He said that they do not know why God specify five times a day Then he said because of daily concerns they do not want to forget about GodThen he gave us some good information about the building that was completed since 1991 20 years ago On the floor is a large carpet put together for the purpose of prayer According to the Imam during prayers worshippers bow kneel and prostrate on the ground in humility before God The place of prayer has to be clean for they not allow preying with their shoes on Farther behind were the shoes boxes then on the left hand side of the wall is a beautiful handmade tapestry of Mecca or Elcaba In the far front at the middle is the Mihrab located in the wall of the mosque shaped like a doorway in the direction of mecca Furthermore closer on the right is the Minbar it is a raised short staircase from which sermons or speeches are given On the right
