The 25th Hour was a great movie Monty Brogan Edward Norton is a 31 year old Irish-American drug dealer that gets to his highest point in selling drugs but when someone rats him out he gets sentence to seven years in a New York penitentiary and now he only has twenty-five hours to say goodbye to his family and friends Also the movie focuses on Montys two best friends Jacob Elinsky Philip Seymour Hoffman and Frank Slaughtery Berry Pepper The behavior of two friends is influenced by their best friend Montys impending seven-year absence 25th Hour makes a spectacular movie with the interesting acting lively characters and ironic ending In the beginning of the film Monty and his friend Kostya Novotny Tony Siragusa are stopped by a dog that was left for dead and Monty is kind hearted and wants to help the dog at first Monty wants to shoot the dog because the dog tries to bite him when Monty says Christ he still has some bite in him Benioff Kostya tells Monty I think he does not want to play with you Come you want the police to pull over You want police looking through your car Monty decides to take the dog and give him proper care Such a scene shows the audience how caring Monty and Kostya and that drug dealer can have hearts In order for the movie to be a success all the actors have to really research their parts and actually really try and become their characters to get the whole feeling of the movie I felt on this movie that all the characters did a superb job throughout the entire movie they were all emotionally involved with trying to help Monty to come to realization that he wouldnt be able to have his freedom for the next 7 yearsIm a big fan of Edward Norton anyway and the mirror scene with
