ADHD or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is one of the most know disorders diagnosed in children Most of the sympthomes children face is trouble paying attention in class not being able to control their impulse and trouble interacting with their peer In Addition causes social negation from their peers Psychologist agree that the sore of the problem comes from the home Where their come from a larger family then usual or low income home Therefore Marie Foley did rescreach on A comparison of family adversity and family dysfunction in families of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder ADHD and families of children without ADHD to determine weather families with children who have been diagnosed ADHD and thous families without children with ADHD of similar sociodemographic have any sort of camparison Many psychologist have pondered One of the reasons why I choose this topic was because I was always told by my teachers that I had ADHD and thats why I had so much trouble learning Maybe in away I just wanted to be certain if they were right In background it explains that psychologists use The DSM-IV-TR Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder which gives a lists of signs or symptoms that are regularly observed from patients with ADHD Many of which I notices have done on the regular For example being figeting talking excessively at times having difficulty and waiting in turn Then the signs must be consistant for six months and must be shown before the age of seven Eventhough I was not diagnosed with ADHD just by reading this I could tell that some of the signs listed I have problems with Then at the end of the section it explains parents have difficulty raising there kids with this disorder and if you ask my parents they could contest to that
