Throughout my life race hasnt been an issue My parents raised me to believe that everyones different no matter how you look or what you believe in You still treat them like you want to be treated So I believe race is ignorable people shouldnt judge someone by what they look like it should be about that persons personality thats probably why I dont have a boyfriend But that doesnt mean that everyone believes race isnt an issue Society in this world is very complicated and race is a very sensitive subject in the United States In the past eighteen years of my life Ive been taught about the history of people Those people who come from all over the world to find a better life but find struggle and loss but hope I hope the people of 2013 look back and reflect through history and never forget our mistakes and other peoples mistakes throughout the world All of these mistakes through time are mostly about someone thinking there race or beliefs are better than the rest Take Hitler for instances he was man with a dream to exterminate people because they were different Only a crazy person could do that Thats why we learn about history so it does not repeat over again But sometimes some do like right now was treating Muslims different because of the war on Iraq Also we treat gay people differently too because they want to marry in there religion I believe everyone should have the right to walk down the street and not get judged because of their appearance or sexualitySecond History gives us a foundation to start over and make the world better We had to start over a lot to get the United States equal Before the late 60s race has been a big issue for everyone Im not talking about just African Americans but everyone who wasnt a Christian white man Unlike
