In Greek mythology Mothers and children had a very strong connection between each others Fathers did not have a good relationships with their children because they used to fear from their childs future Specially Gods used to swallow their own children because they had a fear that their children might take their place Mothers are very loving and caring to their children The most important thing that mothers care about is how their child will succeed in life In Greek mythology most of the heros became successful because of their mothers help and guidance Also not only mortal children were helped by their mothersZeus the god of the sky and thunder was helped by his mother Without Rheas help Zeus would not have been alive Rhea hided her son Zeus inside a cave in Crete island because his father wanted to swallow him Rhea wanted her son to become a great ruler when he grows up With the help of his mother Zeus overthrow the titans and becomes the god of the sky and thunder In Greek mythology mothers and their childrens were like two bodies with one soul We know that a mother will not protect her son as much as she will to her Daughter Mothers protects their children but protects their daughters more Demeter the god of crops and Seasons one of the ancient Greek gods that was very protective to her daughter Persephone Demeter had a Very important job among all the other gods All the other gods always try to keep Demeter happy because if She gets mad there will be no crops and always winter Persephone was the most precious and valuable thing In Demeters life Persephone was the reason behind her mothers happiness One day Persephone was picking flowers and hades saw her from the underworld and fell in love with her Hades dragged her down to the underworld and gave her a pomegranate to eat Persephone
