The artist I have chosen is Israel Houghton I choose him because his songs have made a major impact on my musical life While listening to them or learning to play them they have greatly improved my skills in playing and in overall knowledge of the flow of songs and worship services Another reason why I choose Israel is my carrier as a professional gospel musician mainly a pianist and drummer Israel songs are use plenty of times in different churches I have found myself playing at or attendingThe audience that Israel is mostly directed towards is the gospel group His mix of South African feel with an American gospel worship feel seem so to draw everyone His awesome piano player Aaron Lindys there to arrange and play his song on such a level of perfection its crazy Israels songs have a way of grasping his audience Even people who have never heard of him sing his songs or know the song Once you start listing you cant stop and thats the level of creation I want to be at I think Israel applies with the public very well He is very respectful and intelligent during his interviews he represents the gospel christan group very well Hes timely in his performing but also leaves room for God to work in whatever way he needs to so people get both a timely experience and a holy experience His look fits his genre of music as well also I think he applies to the public in a way where he doesnt say much about himself so its always a mystery People are always wondering who is he really as a person whats it like to be the creator of all these amazing song that have been sung and continue to be sung worldwide He also appeals with the public well because he does allot of compilations things with different artist He spreads his sound
