The Entertainment industry has been a huge part of society since the beginning of time Music being the most popular form of entertainment because of the way it lets people release their feelings in an easy lyrical way In fact Music is used as therapy to reduce stress and other types of minor illnesses Of course music had to start somewhere and develop into what it is today Artists get their inspiration from previous artists and different genres Technology however is what has changed the way music is distributed listened to and advertised Without the help of technology and other advances however we wouldnt have what we listen to today Music being one of the oldest forms of entertainment was sparked with something as little as the clapping and slapping of the thigh to make a beat The way the beats sounded made people want a better way and a better sound to create Though no one knows for sure what the first instrument is it is rumored to be the strung rattle In the so-called strung rattle small hard objects such as nutshells seeds teeth or hooves are strung in cords or tied in bunches bunch rattles Suspended from the ankles knees waist or neck of the dancer they respond to his movements with a sharp noise but their rhythm seldom is accurate as they sound slightly after the dancers movement Sachs Kurt This practice was popular in tribal dances in South America As tribal dances became popular in South America and other countries and continents such as Africa more and more instruments were created Those instruments were used in many ways to make different genres of music like Jazz Blues Rock-and-Roll Hip-Hop and many others Each genre gave people a way to express what they were or are going through whether its love hard economic times or just having fun The words or the rhythms of certain songs made them popular
