My student status at JJc is that I am a returning and part timestudent I plan on staying at JJC for about two years to get myassociates in Early Childhood Education after i get myassociates i would like to attend a 4 year college to get mymastersin business The goals that i set for myself while incollege is to better myself in my study habits have a betterunderstanding what it feels like to be a college student andto pass all my class with an A I have a 5 month daughter thatI spend mostof my time with at this time I do not have a jobbut working on getting one I spend the majority of my timerasining my daughter and taking care of myself in the processof doing so I am an African American female who is 21 yearsold who is lookingforward to having a great career in the nearfuture I attend church every sunday help others who needshelp and a loving mother to my daughter Right now I live withmy parents my daughter and I have our own room that we sharethe house I stay in withmy parents has 4 bed room its a bighouse My challenges in college is juggling my daughters timeand my time for homework Children expecially babies need andwant all the attention that you can give as a result of metaking care of my daughter andspending most of my time with herit is going to be challenging to get my school work done andstudy time Early Childhood education is my choice of studybecause I like to learn about children and there developmnethow they grow why they do certain things that as parent wewould not approve of I like to understand a childs mind therefunction and the way they act Learning and understand a childhelps me and or others as parents what to look forward to inthe development of a child or your own child
