College is a frightening place to be alone so when you go to class you automatically look for the first face that seems friendly I did the exact opposite this past spring semester of 2013 I chose all my classes with my best friends thinking it would be easier to study for major exams Friends and college do not mix together it was almost like drinking orange juice after brushing your teeth I assumed that the classes I chose were going to be undemanding but with the deficiency of studying they proved to be more strenuousThe classes that I chose for the spring semester at Central Texas College were not all that difficult to pass as long as the studying was maintained The courses that I was really good at I obtained Cs for and those classes were History 1302 and College Algebra 1401 these classes seemed as if they were going to be uncomplicated classes at the beginning of the semester My spring semester had already started to take a load on me as I was looking for a sign that said Take this way and remove all your worries These kinds of signs do not exist in college it is either you do the work and study hard or you fall to statistics like every one before you My issues began after the first study session that all my friends and I had decided to put together for the first exam in History We all brought our notes we took during class so we could quiz one another and compare ideas of what we thought was going to be on the test the following day This event ended in a very tragic way nothing was able to get accomplished as every one continued on becoming distracted with cellphones video games sleeping and the urge to drink Studying was the last thing in my friends minds because they felt History was an effortless class
