I went to Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth I picked it because it only fit in my schedule I was planning to go to Amon Carter Art Museum but they were closed around 4 and I didnt know how long it would take me to get there No its not my first visit to a museum My first museum was when I was in elementary school we went to one of the museum in Dallas I forgot which one it wasThe overall feel of the museum at first I thought it was intimidating when I walked in because everyone was wearing a suit and it was packed and quite I went to Picasso and Matisse area But as I kept walking around I find it welcoming and cool to see painting from the past and how long they last At first I went in the museum walk around and I found the painting that seems interesting walk in and automatically a person working there came and ask for a ticket stub so it was pretty strictThe first painting I like is called The Old Guitarist late 1903 early 1904 Pablo Picasso The second painting I like is Houses at Chatou 1905 Maruice De Vlaminck The third painting I like is Champs de Mars The Red Tower 19111923 Robert Delaunay I like these art work because they use one color with different shades called hue which we learn in class uses multiple color to catch the person attention and the shape and sizes of the painting The painting that I didnt really like is Still Life with Queen 1912 Gabriele Mnter It doesnt represent like a painting much and I dont really like flowers and the color of the painting in my opinionThe examples that I learn to help me understand art is Representational which looks like something Abstract which kind of looks like something and Non-representational which doesnt look like anything This
