I have never thought that when you get bullied that ignoring them willmake them leave you alone that it would only make matters worseIt was my Freshman year a year that I would never forget Freshmanyear was horrible Something personal happened but that was the yearthat I literally faced bullying It wasnt physical but was moreverbal People were saying stuff that I knew wasnt true but hurt Theytried getting other people to turn against me to talk mess to getothers to fight me but no matter what I never stooped down As my Sophomore year came things continued happening The situationfrom the previous year was bought in to the new year I thought tomyself This is a new year cant people just let it go that whateverhappened happened Well I was wrong More worse things startedhappening and it got to the point where it was affecting me in ROTCthat I said Enough is enough I asked the instructors if they couldplease do something about it but instead just said Theres nothingwe can do Everywhere you go people are going to be like that I thentold them You know what I understand that everywhere you go youregoing to have people hating on you or not appreciating what you do andtry and make you stoop low but I also understand that if whats goingon is starting to affect someone personally then something needs to bedone And if nothing is going to be done then I quit Whats the pointin being in a Military Program when nothing is going to be done whensomeone needs helpAfter that things started to settle It was more calmer mellowed outno distractions of people saying stuff starting anything with me Untilmy junior year came Then it started again I decided to date what Ididnt know at that time my best friends brother but after a whilethought Eh this isnt for me I didnt feel comfortable wasnt whatI wanted So we broke
