I hope Ive reached you at a good time I cant express how much of a changed person Ive become since the start of 2012 When 2012 started I was nothing more than a girl seeking a dream a dream that could either lead me to success or failure You see Im an athlete who is bound for greatness I started my journey to reach the highest ranks in the country by 2012 My Dream was to make the National Womens Goalball team among six highly successful other athletes Im only eighteen at that point wishing and hoping and hard work was the only things I held onto Throughout the year I gained triumph throughout domestic tournaments that showed that I could be a good player as well as a good person portraying my strengths when we won and my elasticity to bounce back when we lost Hardships are something every athlete goes through when reaching the top The feelings of not being good enough and having those bad days where the words of other peers and role-models get the better of you March this year I find out where my fait lies and so I did Throughout all of the hard work determination perseverance and dedication I showed I made the National Team The National team is something that every kid who plays sports dreams of something that is the highest goal imaginable other than getting a gold at the highest staged games they play in I made it one of the youngest to ever make the team and Im beyond excitedAs we start The Road to London I can see that this isnt going to be an easy path The tournaments that lead up to this are going to show us how we par in with the other teams competing for the top spot Our first tournament we fell short with a second place but that didnt hold us back from being happy
