Putting on performances for my mom on Mothers Day with my three siblings is my favorite childhood memory because we could not sing act nor write good poems Still my mom loved every bit of our performances Although no matter how bad it turned out at the end my mom showed us her love and appreciation My sister two brothers and I used to write poems songs and create plays that were ear bleeding yet hilarious performances for our mom It did not matter what genre of music that we sang and we would give our song full effort The performances were breathtaking side-hurting and tears-to-your-eyes funny Now to add to that we could not sing at all Still our voices would ring out upon my moms ears like rolling claps of thunder I remember my brothers singing and their voices cracking or screeching as they tried to hit high notes In spite of how bad the songs poems and plays were put together her face would still be graceful in my opinion like a bird taking off in slow motion and without judgment My mother never told us that we sounded bad and never stopped us because she simply could not take the noise anymore My mom smile stayed beaming from her face as we performed every once and a while she would laugh and giggle but she gave us all her full attention the entire time we had our performance going In our eyes we were awesome and we were making her proud to have us as her children Then when we were finished she would grab us all like a child hugging her favorite teddy bear with heart melting tears in her eyes She could have told us the truth about how terrible our
