Pine Springs CampMy favorite place is Pine Springs Camp because it is a fun outdoor exciting and familiar environment Pine Springs is a church camp in Jennerstown Pa that I always look forward to going to I have been going to summer camp there for eleven years and I have gone to many retreats there as well The wonderful staff and counselors at camp have made an impact on my life and constantly help me to grow in my faith by being great role modelsCampers stay in cabins with bunk beds lots of other campers and two counselors The wood in the cabin has the aroma of a pleasing pine polish It is a lovely distinct smell that I could recognize anywhere Beyond the cabins is the swimming pool where early in the morning one can hear the ice cold screaming of the Morning Dip as campers and staff dive into the pool together to jump start their day Past the swimming pool is the A-Frame where campers eat their food like starving wild animals The food made by the kitchen staff tastes delicious and the ice cold glass of water soothes my throat after being outside in the hot sun The rich creamy sweetness from the ice cream is an amazing treat before leaving the A-Frame to continue the adventures 0utside the A-Frame is a basketball court gaga ball pit and a field to play frisbee Gaga ball is my favorite game to play and one can hear the shouts of the enthusiastic campers from miles away as they cheer on their friends to victory The sound of the ball hitting against the gaga ball pit wall and picturing myself sliding in to hit the ball at my opponents feet brings a smile to my face While outside in the woods the sounds of the forest animals can be heard all around It is beautiful watching the forest trees dancing to the songs that
