It was the summer of 2009 I was on the Interstate bound for family fun at the Busch Gardens Williamsburg I could feel warm humid air seeping through the windows of the car It was fairly quiet in the car so I wanted to bring up a question I asked What do you want to do most at Busch Gardens todayMom replied thoughtfully Im hoping we can ride the Big Bad Wolf It seems like a ride we could enjoy What do you want to do most GraceThere was a bit of silence Apparently Grace was having trouble deciding what she wanted to do the mostEventually Grace chimed in I want to get to everything Even the Escape From Pompeiijoked DadNo she spit backA while later much after we arrived we were sitting on an old bench near the Oktoberfest section of the theme park My brother and sister went off to get apple cider with Dad because they were thirsty but I stayed with Mom because I didnt like ciders Waiting for the rest of the family to return Mom and I decided to go on the nearby roller coaster which was the Big Bad Wolf I wasnt eager but knowing it was going to be retired the next week I decided I should brave itOf course I was nervous Id never been on a switchback before and was slightly worried to do so right after hearing about accidents that happened on roller coasters Mostly however I was afraid of going through loops in the coaster Mom sensed my nervousness and advised Face your fears GavinOkay Momcame my reply Going along with mom I decided it couldnt be that bad loosened up and got in the line as she texted Dad where we were goingNear the front of line which was very short that day I had doubts Mom I confided Im not too sure Id like to ride the coaster The ride is
