Nebraska The good life our state motto that holds true to thosewilling to give this unrepresented state a chance After graduation I planto stay in Nebraska for several reasons My first motive is the cost ofliving Nowhere else in the country is the cost of living as low as it isin the Midwest My second motive is my family Throughout my life I havebeen presented with one overlying theme family will always be there whilefriends may come and go I wish to stay close to my family when it comestime for me to start my own after college Although both my mother andfathers siblings spread out to the far reaches of the continent mysiblings and I have decided to remain close in the Midwest Because myextended family is so far spread I still have yet to meet several of mycousins and uncles This is something I hope to prevent from happening tomy future children Also I wish for my children to be raised in a safeenvironment Although the glamour life of Los Angeles and the fast paceddays in New York City sound are ever appalling to my inner adventurer Iacknowledge that life in Nebraska is better for families Not only willthey be instilled with the infamous good old Midwestern values but theywill also learn from the get go how to enjoy themselves despite theplethora of available activities Leadership in many organizations is also an important thing I wish tocontinue throughout college and after graduation Although many peoplebelieve that being a leader is a big thing which will takes up loads it canbe as simple as doing what you are supposed to when you are suppose toLeading by example is the number one rule to being a great leader I planto be a leader in my future community in many ways Becoming highlyinvolved in
