I always planned on going to college but I never thought that I wouldbe 28 years old before I actually went back to school It has beenquite an experience returning to school and being an adult going back toschool has had its challenges There are several reasons I could say Imreturning back to school I can only think of three that are the mostimportant to me My three reasons for returning to school are owning myown business and having a better life my own personal need and makingmyself proud and lastly Making my son and my family proud of me andgiving my son a positive role model to look up to Earning a bachelorsdegree in Business Information Systems is a big step toward my futuregoal of owning my own business and having a better life and more money My personal need to have a degree and being proud of myself isimportant to me Not only do I want to make myself proud I want to makemy son and my family proud of me My main reason for returning to schoolis my son I want to be someone positive that he can look up to and beproud of Returning to school has been a fun and exciting journey I have met alot of interesting people along the way I actually can not wait until Ican log into class and get started on my assignments I love going toschool although it has had its challenges and obstacles There are manykinds of obstacles a college student must overcome to be successful inschoolAs a result the major obstacles I need to overcome to be successful inschool are personal and academic I think I am a very quiet and shyperson for my age My boyfriend is the only one working right now tosupport our family We just rake and scrape to get by some months Igenerally have a lower self esteem about things I hope
