Explain your reasons for seeking admission to Montclair State University including what you believe are your academic strengths and interests Be sure to explain any situations that may have had an impact either positively or negatively on your academic record List significant activities in which you have participated both in school and out of schoolTheatre The beautiful art of live theatre Many people working together to make a work of art I spend six days a week in a theatrical environment but I am also involved in many other aspects of my school I am the Vice President of the Environmental Club and I am a part of the American Sign Language Club I have been in my schools Chamber Choir for four year my schools a cappella group Fermata Nowhere for 3 years and I have also been a part of the Bergen County Choir three times now I love all of these activities but my heart and soul belongs to theatre I discovered my love for theatre when I first came to Westwood JrSr High School in 7th grade I joined the theatre club because some of my friends were signing up This was the first time I had ever been exposed to theatre At my old Baptist school in Texas they didnt have anything remotely close to theatre everything was academic based So coming to New Jersey half way through 6th grade is the best thing that could have happened to me because a short 6 months later I found what I want to do for the rest of my life I love all aspects of theatre but the one thing I am most interested in is stage management I realized that I wanted to pursue it as a career when I shadowed a stage manager Veronica Felborn in New York City I followed her around for an entire night like a little duck silently waddling behind her with open curious eyes
