Prologue Everyone seems confused when Pom is talked about So what is it exactly Pom is a form of athletic dancing that schools participate in Just like cheerleading but with dancing instead of stunting or tumbling The main focus around Pom is dance so to become a pommie someone has to have prior experience with pirouettes chases chaines side leaps developes a la seconds fouettes and other dance terminology In order to make it on the Pom team going through a try out is neededI did it I finally made it to my first day of high school As I walked through the hallways I thought about all of the new and great people I was going to be enchanted to meet It has always been said that the four year of high school are the best years in life and I was definitely going to experience anything I could to be a part of that statistic Freshman year was boundless I strived to achieve anything and everything I could I did softball culinary arts went to football games every Friday night met my best friend had my first boyfriend and my first heartbreak So many things happened my freshman year that will always be a part of me I took my first dance class and that is where I learned that I had a true passion for dancing As freshman year came to an end and sophomore year approached I did not want anything to change Therefore I stuck to the same friends and I continued to play softball Sophomore year was one of the best years of my life I met my first real love Giovanni I saw no other light other than him But with light comes darkness and every relationship comes to an end Once my relationship with Giovanni ended I could not find anything to make me happy Dance was always by source of outcome and I released my
