The best vacation I ever went on was a trip to Canada with my entire family The trip was planned with the purpose of going to my uncles wedding He was set to marry my aunt Carolynn I was extremely excited I was approximately 8 years old and had never been out of the country before I remember myself imagining what Quebec would be like how I would manage with the language barrier The majority of citizens there spoke French a language which I could not speak read or understand The day my family and I where to set off to Canada we loaded up a rental car with each of our luggages We had to pick up my aunt Sheila in New Hampshire before we could officially start our drive Once there we gathered with several others packed up each individual car with luggage and passengers Then it was time to leave we had an 8 to 10 hour trip ahead of us On the road we saw several mouse deer and vibrant maple trees When we got to Canada we meet everyone for dinner at the Hotel restaurant The next morning we went to the wedding Carolynn looked beautiful in her white laced gown with extraordinarily long train The song here come the bride started to play the church got deathly quiet and everyone focused their attention on the bride Once everyone was silent the ceremony began The priest had the bride and groom recite the traditional wedding vows along with a few personal vows of their choice Many people cried at the beauty and love involved within the ceremony After the wedding ceremony was complete each family hurried to their hotel rooms to relax Most of the younger kids laid on the bed watching rug- rats in French on the television Meanwhile the adults of my family got undressed from their wedding outfits and prepared for the wedding
