My trip to Nashville Tennessee is a trip I will not forget in a hurry It was fascinating because of the things I learned at the conference and the people I met The conference really inspired me and the trip was also a wonderful thing to me because I got to meet my cousin whom I last saw about nine years ago who is now in Fisk University Tennessee This conference broadened my knowledge and it was the first science conference I attended At the conference I learned a lot of things such as how people present themselves while speaking and how to prepare myself for any form of question that may be asked by the audience I had the opportunity to network with others for future purposes I was able to know how Tennessee otherwise known as the Music City looks I feel this conference really prepared me for the next opportunity having seen the way the others presented themselves I enjoyed the teaching and the lessons on human health and strategy such as how to prevent myself from being a victim of sexually transmitted diseases I also listened to a report on where scientists are in their research for solution of sexually transmitted diseasesI feel Huston-Tillotson University would benefit a lot from my experiences from this trip through applying the strategies I learned and by my learning the topics that interest society and how to present myself for my points to be clear I went to two different workshops first the Study Techniques for College Success presented by Rosie Sneed DVM PhD and Karen Redden PhD both professors of Biology at the University of the District of Columbia This workshop can help me and my fellow students succeed at HT having heard of the ways to make us be successful individuals in the future As a student who loves to share information that may help my fellow students succeed I want to share
