Our family has two types of dogs even though they are so differentthey complete our Household A lot can be said about these two they areso diverse big and smallOne is a Yorkshire terrier and the other is a Pit bull The Yorkshire isa female and her name is BellaThe pit bull is a male and his name is Johnny Many people in ourfamily didnt think it would work out but our Yorkie terrier is theAlfa dogThere are many differences between these two dogs in breed and in theway these two respond to us as a family and the environment around themYorkshire Bella is about 7 pounds have long flow hair its grayblack and tan coat with a small head and tail that usually docked Thehistory of this breed was developing in the 19th century in the countyof Yorkshire England to catch rats in clothing mills also forrat-baiting She is exactly that way she has brought us baby rabbits andchipmunks At one point we had field mice and she would chase and catchthemOur pit bull is a whole different dog contrary to what you see in themedia Our Johnny was a rescue first before we decided to adopt him hewe went to visit him every other day first my husband then us with Bellabeing that he came from the fighting world and rescue when he was abouta year I honestly was a little bit uncomfortable with the idea but whenI went to see him and look into his eyes I didnt see a killer I saw adog that needed us to protect him from all others that thought of himdifferently The pit bull can trace his ancestors back to England in theearly 19th century Crosses between bully type dog and terrierseventually produced the pit bull the earlier bulldogs were used asworking dogs controlling unruly bulls for butchers as well as farmersOur Johnny is very muscular stocky and extremely strong for his sizeHis ears are cropped
