It all started when I walked into a room and saw the back of a head with headphones muffled tight over the ears I stood there and watched as the young teenager wiggled his way to the edge of the couch He lunged forward backward to left and to the right I thought he was on 3D on a roller coaster ride from all the sudden displacement and movement His eyes were affixed to the television screen I could hear lots of profanity and a few words of get out of my way and watch my back The rapid clicking made me watch a little closer as he clenched the remote in his hands His knuckles were white and there was nonstop movement in his thumbs and index fingers The echoes of gunshots were loud and continuous but seemed immune to the young teenager Some of the bullets ricochet while others were causing a visual damage There were zombies and blood emerging from every angle of the television The realism of these graphics is just one part of a global phenomenon This teenager was playing a video game titled Call of Duty I didnt realize it at the moment but this scene was going to change my view on video games and the influences they have Several children and young adults waste away their day sitting in front of a television screen or computer monitor playing video games Due to the latest technology game makers are able to make their games almost reality The latest mature rated video games share one thing in common they all have a bad influence on the consumer Game makers should be fined for the horrific games they have created they have corrupted the minds of all their customers These games should stop being produced and manufacturedGames such as Call of Duty revolves
