Parents might be the one thing you take for granted however they are also the one thing you need to remember to never take for granted within my experience I have learned that my parents are the most important thing in my life My learning experience came from when I was a freshman in High School My best friends mother died and in that moment I learned from a family friend to never take your parents for grantedMy friend and her mom always had a very close bond Everyone who knew them could tell that their bond could never be broke When they found out her mom had cancer my friend pretty much spent every second at my house when her mom was really sick One day my friend got called down to the office and was told that her mom didnt have much longer The next morning while I was getting ready for school I got a phone call informing me that her mother had died that night For the next couple weeks I went over to her house and made sure she was okayWithin those weeks I had become fairly close with my mom However as the weeks went by my mom and I started getting into more and more fights I soon got grounded for somewhere around 2 and a half weeks for being so mean and cruel Within this time period I was golfing frequently with our family friend because it was the only thing I could do While I was grounded I had no phone which means when I needed to get into contact with someone I had to ask around for a phone After one of my big golf matches I was asking around for a phone so I could call my family and tell them how I did The family friend kindly gave me her phone after I got off the phone she sat me down and told
