If you can support the discussion on euthanasia and same-sex marriage with sourced data, as well as update any claims to the current moment of writing, those two case studies will be even more effective.

As you move forward, I recommend providing more specific context and definitions for the key terms. The dictionary definition used in the opening is pretty broad and ultimately can't quite hold up the specifics of your claims. I think it will be important to explain the specific form of democracy used in the U.S. for the majority/minority binary you use here to make the most sense. Similarly, contextualize your use of originalism. More precision in the necessary vocabulary will enrichen ethos and bring nuance to a complicated and ongoing discussion.
