In Berlin Germany on January 20 1942 fourteen men met to discuss the Jewish question or The Final Solution the permanent cleansing of all Jews from Europe The order for the Final Solution was given by Fuhrer Leader Adolph Hitler Hitler was the head of the Nazi Party and the head of the German Army in World War II It was because of his actions as commander and Chief of the Nazi Army that the Allied countries declared War on Germany Hitler had a theory of the German race being superior and so he wanted to cleanse that race of all impurities During the time of the Second World War one of the vilest genocides the world has ever seen occurred The Holocaust involved the death of about six million men women and children In schools throughout America once a child begin to learn about World War II they also being to learn of the Holocaust they are also taught that these horrors are solely blamed on one mans ambitions to make the German race a superior race Hitler was a man with the gift of speech he was able to invade the minds of the poor aristocrats of Germany and Austria The Veterans that came back from the First World War came home to depression poverty and failure These same men took arms against the allies in the Nazi Regime to take back what they felt they lost during World War I Hitler quickly gained attention as he preached to the German people of the Aryan Race A race of blue eyed blond white men who were being tainted by the Jewish population Its no question that the theories and philosophies of the Nazi regime came from inside the head of Adolph Hitler or that he truly believed he was part of a superior race But can we also argue that Hitler was the mastermind behind the terror of the Holocaust Was
