People all over the world have different beliefs a really important belief that I have is towards Our Lady of Guadalupe She is known to be the Mother of God and Mexicos most popular religious and cultural image In the image Our Lady of Guadalupe or Virgen de Guadalupe in spanish has her eyes closed with both her hands together as if she was praying She is surrounded by a ball of light wearing a beautiful red dress and a green cape around her Our lady of Guadalupe is also surrounded by amazingly fluorescent flowersAccording to the myth Our Mother of Guadalupe made her appearance to a humble man named Juan Diego in December 9 1531 Juan Diego was on his way to church when he heard birds singing on the hill of Tepeyac Curiously Juan Diego went up the hill and saw a beautiful lady surrounded with bright shining light Our Lady of Guadalupe told Juan Diego in a native language that she wished for a temple built in her name on the hill of Tepeyac Juan Diego then carried the message to the bishop twice as Our Lady of Guadalupe instructed him to but the bishop did now believe him The bishop asked Juan Diego for prof after the second time but Juan Diego had lost faith and tried to avoid Our Mother of Guadalupe As Juan Diego was trying to avoid Our Mother of Guadalupe she found him and instructed him to go pick flowers up on the hill So he then went up the hill and found every rare kind of flowers and put them in his tilma which is like a poncho Juan Diego then went to the bishop and to show him the flowers but was surprised to see an image of Our Mother of Guadalupe instead of flowers This was enough proof for the bishop and the temple was madeOur Mother of Guadalupe is a really important part
