The article Foster Care System says this is a way substitute families care for kids who cannot stay with their families due to dangerous situations of their homes Not all kids in foster care system end up becoming victims of drugs violence threats prostitution and poverty However there are some situations where foster homes become dangerous and unsafe more than their family homes One of the dangerous situation is kids in foster homes have trouble making friends due to their movement from one place to another They have trouble making friends due to their situation When they make new friends at the foster home if they are moved they will lose those friends and at the next home they will be scared to make more friends as result of fear of being hurt if they are moved The second dangerous situation is kids who live in foster homes deal with unfavorable situations like being abused maltreated difficult in having social interaction being lied to lost friends anger problems which get most of the kids in problems and challenges to cope with the future ahead of them and some of them are even being abused by their foster parentsThis article also suggests that the only problem facing kids in foster homes is that most kids are neglected to pass through hardship and difficultly at their tender age So the question now is why should kids from foster homes ending up becoming homeless neglected victims of drug abuse and victims of teenage detentions The above questions call for everyones attentionMy reason in this discussion is to analyze and reveal kids welfare system in foster homes the orphan train movement and the custody of infants acts in relation to tender years doctrine According my research I hope to shed more light on these problemsLiterature reviewIn the book Orphans Trains Movement Patrick and Trickel goes on to say that it is the history of the children on orphans
