The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost is a short poem about a persons last quest This is a poem that everyone in an English speaking country has readapt least 10 times It starts off with the journeyer at a fork in the road in the middle of the woods in winter He would like to travel both but he is just one person He stands there at the fork in the road for a long time staring at each road and where it goes Wondering which one to take After a while he decided to take the path that less people had taken because the grass wasnt worn on it when in actuality it was just about the same He thinks he made the right decision and is happier for it He chose the path less traveled because he had taken the other path a long time ago but he knew it would make him face negative consequences so he started on the other one and never took the other again He says that one day he will be talking about this decision and say that taking the path he chose has made all the difference in his life This poem is just a metaphor for life the author of this story had probably been doing bad things in life but then decided to change his life and be good He thinks it has made a positive change in his life This story is easy to compare to todays world The author like many people had made some bad decisions in life and after a while finally saw the errors of his ways and decided to change their lives They took the time to change their lives and become good and were happier for it When older they tell their children and grandchildren about the mess that their lives were before they changed and always say that they are happier for it That if
