Americans have been consuming fast food over the last several decades at an increasing rate There are many reasons for this popularity in fast food Some would say because fast food is delicious Americans do not doubt that having a juicy burger or crispy hot fries are inviting and enjoy devouring these appetizing items Convenience is a more likely reason for choosing fast food Everywhere we look is a fast food chain being advertised on billboards street corners saying at your next exit or the next turn at the light A third reason could also be speed of service Fast food restaurants have made drive-thru feasible for faster serves to the public The fourth reason is low cost associated with most meals Generally fast food menus have choices from 1 dollar for an item and 5 dollars for a complete mealNobody can deny how delightful fast food can be with choices of hamburgers chocolate shakes salted french fries and chicken fingers on an instant order If people knew what kind of chemicals is put in fast food they might think twice before devouring the next burger People fancy the flavor of salt sugar and fat when it smacks our taste buds Not to mention how those flavors can chigger our brain cells begging for more Convenience is feasible for most Americans especially if we are pressed for time When we are on the go fast food is the place to stop for a quick pick up in drive-thru Some fast food restaurants even have dual drive thru window service or better yet places to park for curb side service It does not take long to drive around the corner and find a fast food restaurant These restaurants have given some people the idea that going to a drive-thru is better than taking time to prepare a decent meal at home Americans have developed laziness not wanting to clean up the kitchen after
