"You touch on some important aspects of Puritan society in this essay. You do a good job of showing how certain beliefs manifest themselves in the novel. Some of these ideas could be developed further. For example, what effect does the hypocrisy of Dimmsdale's involvement have on the society? Does this revelation change anything?
Be sure to revise your paper to remove some unecessary repetition. Quotations should be used sparingly and only when directly relevant to your topic. Remember to proofread to catch occasional errors before you submit."
