Is racism a stereotype Many might ask how to define how to define racism racism is a belief doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievements usually the belief that ones own ethnic group is superior to others The question is when did people begin acting as if racism died There are many different types of racism in society such as individual racism intuitional systemic racism and cultural racism The Trayvon Martin V George Zimmerman trial the Casey Anthony Trial and also the Marissa Alexander trial tie into cultural racism Racism plays a big role in society but only certain people seem to catch it Racism is an important thing to address because it is still alive todayRacism is played in everyday society We can not go a day without hearing either in the news or in media that a racist crime happened Racism affects thousands of people every day Racism is in schools TV public organizations and many more places Unfortunately racism has been inexistence since the beginning of history A big example of racism in society is the Trayvon Martin V George Zimmerman case Some people in society see this trial racist because George Zimmerman a white Caucasian male got away with murder of Trayvon Martin a young African American teen who did nothing wrong The biggest aurgemnent in the trail was if it was an African American man who killed a cacuasin teen would the cace have gone differently In society people look at the Trayvon Martin V George Zimmerman case Casey Anthony case and also the Marissa Alexander case and compare them The Casey Anthony case is another example of justice not being serves because a Caucasian woman got away with murder of her young daughter Then people look at the Marissa Alexander case and see a young African American in jail for 20 years for firing a warning shot in the air
