When I was growing up and learning how to read I was also learning how to find a nice quiet area to read My reading area had to be perfectly set up I would have to lay in my bunk bed with my fuzzy pink blanket wrapped around myself tight like a cocoon I would then gather my million stuffed animals and line them up so that they are were all sitting up and facing me because they of course wanted to hear the story that I was going to read them that day The stuffed animals not only made me feel like I had an audience but also made me secure and comfy The main light in my bedroom would have to be off but I would use my little reading light above my head From there on I could just read for hours upon hours I would let the entire day get by and still just continue to readMy favorite series when I was in elementary school was Junie B Jones The B stands for Beatrice I adored reading those novels because I felt as if I could relate to her We were both in elementary school and both of our favorite foods were spaghetti and meatballs My favorite thing to do was read these novels out loud for my stuffed animals The way the author made her and her characteristics just like an elementary student was phenomenal I loved reading about her best friend Lucille mainly because she was the exact opposite of Junie She was a spoiled brat and their friendship was off and on I felt like every time I finished one of the books then ten more of them came out I loved it because each book had a different scenario so it was like reading a whole different book with the same charactersAs
