Being asked by a professor to adventure the through your past when times was not all that great is really tough Growing up as a young black man in Kansas City Missouri was tough even my mother and father kelp their three young boys and daughter around positive people I never really understood why my father told me that no one is really gone to give you real love like your family until I became older I lived in Kansas City as a young pup until I turned fourteen years old then my mother and father moved me and me two brothers and sister out to the sub-burbs My parents felt that moving us out the sub-burbs was a good an idea was a good idea due to the lack of education being presented to the kids in the inner city at the time I thank my mother and father for the opportunity that was giving to us that my parents never had the chance of having Adjusting to the sub-burbs was one of the hardest things in life that I have ever had to do because I never heard the word racist nor experienced any trail thats came with being a young Black male Growing up my father never let me my brothers or sister get in to many situation that was not good because my older brother from my Dads first marriage had been put in jail due to being around the wrong crowd Being the oldest child was hard for my older brother Marc and he never really interest in what his younger siblings were doing because he was 8 years gap from the oldest of the kids Replaying my first week in the school district in the city Raymore was like a twelve year old child being dumped in the middle of China town I was clueless of what I was gone to experience Walking down the halls other kids of
