Body Rituals among the NaciremaMy attitude towards reading has always been positive My attitude is this way because my teachers have always made reading fun In general I like to read something that I pick out but I will read whatever is assigned whether I want to read it or not and usually find something I like about it The readings I would pick out for myself would include books about adventure mystery and thrillers All in all I would say that I am a strong reader but it is more enjoyable when I can choose My attitude about reading something that is not my choice did carry over when reading this article since I usually find something I like about anything I read assigned or of my choice it helped me to find what interested me Going into this article I had no idea what it would be about but after reading the article it seemed to be about the ritual life of the Nacirema and how much of their beliefs are based on magical things I found the main content of this article to be interesting yet I do not exactly agree with it due to the strong emphasis on magic which for me is not a belief In the beginning of the article the author states the places these people came from which made me lose my attention and confused me since I did not know where those places were This made me re-read the article but not give up on the readingEven though I did not want to read this for myself I became curious about the topic If I started to get bored when reading I made myself focus and look for what interested me I started to become curious when the author mentions the rituals of these people and their shrines are secrete I stumbled at this and was curious because I did not understand the reason for keeping
