In addition to its religious meaning sacredness is used to refer to things which are very important to us or which we greatly respect Different people define different things as sacred for them For me the three most sacred things are knowledge love and familyKnowledge is the true organ of sight It is our window to the universe The more we know the easier we can understand the world around us Without it we are nothing That is why every person should have a thirst for knowledge Ignorance has been nothing but a bane to humanity It has caused much pain and suffering over the ages of history An ignorant person can easily be deceived about something they have little knowledge of This is why we must strive to gain knowledge But knowledge will not come to us by itself An African proverb says Knowledge is like a garden if it is not cultivated it cannot be harvested The only way to cultivate knowledge is through learning We should seize every opportunity to learn and expand our knowledge because true wisdom comes with knowledgeParadise is where love dwells Love is the only way to achieve true happiness No other emotion can even come close to it We spend our most of our lives trying to find that special someone whom we would like to die with Many people even see love as the purpose of life Is there anyone who does not want to be loved I do not think so We all crave for our soul mates because they make us feel complete It is as if they are the last piece of the puzzles of our souls Perhaps people were created in pairs and then separated from each other to test the strength of their love Nobody knows for sure But we all know that finding our true love can be very difficult Sometimes we must overcome many impediments in order to
