As a parent it scares me to think of the behavior displayed among youth in America today Children killing their parents as well as other children kids using drugs and blatant disrespect seem to be running rapid among our countrys youth I can only guess that lack parental responsibility public prevention and dramatization through the media are the three main contributors to children committing crimes Freewill makes us unique as humans We can choose to make responsible choices and be accepted among society or we can choose to break laws and suffer the consequences I have to wonder what these kids are missing My guess is that the lack of a responsible role model is the largest factor for their bad behavior Monkey see monkey do Are we so consumed with making a buck that children have become forgotten possessions In our first reading assignment it was noted that many years ago children were classified among animals Is this still happening in society today Are ignorant people having babies just because they want to own one When the novelty wears off do they abandon them to raise themselves Are people not able to overcome their misfortunes leaving their children to pay the price If this is true then why do these people have children If someone wants to make this choice well be prepared to sacrifice a good time Society as a whole is ultimately responsible for children What is America doing to stop children from resorting to criminal behavior This is the twenty-first century we should not still be dealing with this issue We can send people to space why can we not help our children Correct me if I am wrong I have not heard of any realistic or practical approaches to redirecting this behavior I recently learned that in the Bronx a public school receives approximately eight thousand dollars per child every year A wealthier public school
