The cod end is a small traditional fish and chip shop locatated near the town centre squeezed between two of the many surf stores in Newquay The shop accommodates inside and outside dinning space where customers can enjoy a leisurely meal in the restaurant as well as a bite on the goMy first impressions walking into the shop were positive as it looks clean and had an extensive range of food that you wouldnt normally expect from small fish and chips I waited in the long queue which is normally a good sign as the restaurant seemed a popular with the locals and tourists however there was not much space to queue and therefore I was quite cramped trying to get end the of an unorganized queue While waiting I could admire the battered fish which I was about to have as most of their food was on display Once Id ordered my meal it was not long before I had it in my hands I went to sit down at their indoor table overlooking the beach where customers can relax and enjoy the view Overall there restaurant section was clean and welcoming I found it great pace to enjoy your meal and shelter from the British rain at the timeThe meal I ordered was there traditional fish and chips at a price of 600 which seemed very reasonable as I was given a large portion Sadly there was only one portion size to choose from which was disappointing seeing as it is the main meal The presentation of the meal was adequate with my plate being quite small in comparison to such a large meal I was also not supplied with a knife and fork instead I was given a small wooden fork which was seemingly awkward to eat with The meal its self was defiantly good quality fish and chips the fish and oily batter where fresh and tasted great The chips
