The growing population not only in America but also around the world is threatening our infrastructure Our roads sewer systems bridges and railroad systems are just some things that make up our infrastructure As the population grows our infrastructure is being use more and more until it hits its breaking point Old infrastructures needrepairor improvement because of the stress of continuous and increasing use Another reason is of the growing weakness of the structures due to age and other factors such as weather If these infrastructures arent restored the peoples safety is at risk Theres no question that not only Americas population but also the worlds population is rapidly increasing Todays infrastructure isnt able to deal with the rapid growth and change of society without being either restored or improved Most of our present day infrastructures werent built to handle the problems we have today A rapid increase in population isaffecting our bridges Most bridges standing today were built decades ago and now therere becoming older and weaker We need the bridges to become stronger if anything because of the increasing use Lets say theres a traffic jam and hundreds of cars are left sitting at a halt on a main bridge If that particular bridge hasnt been restored at all then that bridge could collapse The bridge could have grown weaker over the years If improvement or restoring is neither done at all at anytime then everyones life could be at risk for those who are stuck in the traffic jam on the bridge Traffic jams are a problem in todays world because more and more people are driving cars In large city streets there are a lot of potholes because the streets arent getting restored This can cause serious damages to cars and buses which would cost the city and people money As problems around the world keep escalating we are going to have a lot of issues down the road if
