Rosa Bonheur was born to a couple that was very artists and her father had given her lessons on art Her father name was Oscar Raymond Bonheur Her mother was a music teacher and her father was an art teacher Rosa siblings name were Auguste brother Isadore brother and Juliette sister and they all became artists Her father kept a small barnyard containing small animals and that is how Rosa Bonheur got attached to animals Rosa Bonheur had a fascination with animals and she thought that fitted right in with realism Her sales were very brisk because everybody knew of her and she was beginning to become very popular She then started to earn a living as an artist She smoked in public and study animal autonomy She visited slaughter houses to study animal autonomy Rosa Bonheur had created an art piece called The Horse Fair and this piece became the most famous piece She received many honors for this one piece She received an award called Legion dhonneur which was only given to men until Rosa BonheurThis woman is the best person known for painting animals She also did sculpting and other types of art She is a very outspoken women and she wanted people to reconsider the role for being a women artist She was a fascinating woman Marie Bracquemond was a French impressionist She began painting when she was about 13 years of age while she was in Paris with her parents In 1857 Marie Bracquemond had gave a painting in of her mother sister and an old teacher in the background After leaving the studio of Ingres she began receiving money for her at work Marie and Felix Bracquemond were insuperable when they had met They had fell in love and got in engaged for two years before they got married in 1869 Her husband became the art director at the Havilland Studio Marie Braquemond designed plates for their
